Founder and CEO
Kevin Gould is an entrepreneur, talent manager, brand builder, and active angel investor based in Los Angeles.
Gould began his career at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment where Gould noticed a missing link between technology and entertainment. This inspired him to start his own consulting and investing firm, Kombo Ventures, in September 2012. In the years that followed, Gould made strategic investments in a number of innovative new startups; Laurel & Wolf, Gyft (acquired by First Data), Compology, DraftKings, The Hunt (acquired by Pinterest), Whistle (acquired by Mars), Clutter, Rinse, Jukin Media, Brandable, Stem and many more.
Gould was a founding partner and investor at Beautycon Media, a beauty and lifestyle media company with a global festival business that many compare to the ‘Super Bowl meets Coachella for beauty and lifestyle’, an original content business focused on culture, beauty, style, and trends, as well as a direct to consumer e-commerce vertical. Beautycon counts A&E, Live Nation, and Hearst as investors.
Utilizing his extensive knowledge of the entertainment and tech industries, Gould advises and invests in a comprehensive portfolio of companies in addition to regularly speaking on panels and at events on new media, experiential marketing, and the convergence of technology, entertainment and consumer brand building.
